A Little About Me
I suppose I should probably start with my name... Hi, I'm Mike, but my friends just call me Caputo.

I've been working in IT since 2012. Prior to that I worked in construction, so already not your typical IT guy. I installed fence during the day and studied computer networking at night. I spent most of my career in the Twin Cities as the IT manager of a rapidly growing, security focused mail and marketing agency. While there, I took on a merge, an acquisition, and construction of a new building. In the evenings I'd moonlight as a carpenter/farm hand at a boarding facility just to keep my hands from getting too soft. The horses were pretty neat too I guess. From there, I headed north to the Iron Range where I worked in the taconite mines out on the equipment making sure their specialized systems were operational and reporting back critical data. I spent some time in manufacturing and healthcare as too. I'm pretty well seasoned for 12 years in the biz.

I'm now in Hurley, WI with my three year old son and enjoying all that God's country has to offer. We like to hunt, fish, and explore the north woods. I'm also a founding member and Secretary of the Board of Bill's Wish, a non-profit helping Vets struggling with mental and chemical health.

My passion isn't the technology. It's the constant learning that's necessary to help others make sense of it then leverage it.
